Free companion training in the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region

This is a 16 hour "how-to training" session. It uses material prepared by Innovation Consultants on behalf of the CPMT. This complements the four-hour module offered by Emploi-Quebec under the ALMP. The goal is to prepare companions to better integrate their role in transmitting knowledge more effectively to apprentices with the help of simulation exercises and tools (professional standards, training manuals, the companion guide, and the CSMO training guide).

If you wish to form a group during or after these dates, please inform the project manager responsible at the Committee sectoral labor, Stéphane Pimparé by calling 514-219-9862.

A minimum of eight and a maximum of twelve participants are required to organize a training session. Registrants come from one or more companies in your area. Smaller groups may be formed to meet the specific needs of a single company.

Know that the training is free for all participants and the salaries of the registered employees are paid up to $ 20 an hour for businesses with a payroll of less than $ 10 million. The meals are free. The Sectoral Committee has already trained nearly 325 internal trainers and companions.
