Hotel Reservation

Accommodations are not included in the package deals. Conference attendees must reserve their hotel accommodations by contacting the Ritz-Carlton Montréal Hotel at 514 842-4212 or reserve online. Details on the special rate of $185/night can be found on the form. The price indicated is $285, but you will only pay $185 of this total (the QFMA will pay the difference). A value of $660/night.

1:30 p.m. - Tour of the STELPRO manufacturing plant

8:30 a.m. - Enjeux sur le podium (Issues on the podium) - Entrepreneurial Boot camp animated by Valérie Parent
Become a better rounded and more efficient leader through this extraordinary workshop by the Beauce Entrepreneurship School… Experience the impact from a group of leaders who work together and find solutions as part of an intensive 4-hour boot camp presented by Valérie Parent, a marketing specialist for small and medium businesses. It’s a different type of experience, another way of learning and understanding issues, providing a wealth of tangible solutions you can take back to your own business operations. 2 p.m. - Entrepreneurs are the key to Québec’s future, René Vézina
Well-known media personality and a leading authority in economic matters, René Vézina, has been in the journalism profession for 40 years. The former editor-in-chief of the business newspaper, Les Affaires, and managing editor of the magazine Commerce, René was also the host of the show, Finances, on the TVA network. Currently, he comments daily on the economy on the radio branch of Radio-Canada and on 98.5 FM. His challenge is to “make the economy understandable to people as it unfolds on a daily basis.” This is a unique opportunity to gain a better understanding of his vision of our economy.

Isabelle Fontaine plans to answer these questions and much more! Saturday, November 18

8:30 a.m. - Annual General Meeting
On the agenda: a look back on the year’s events with the CEO’s Report, election of the board of directors, the Association’s financial report, questions and discussion.

 

 

11:30 a.m. - Musical presentation with Gregory Charles
To finish off the Conference on an inspiring as well as a musical note, Gregory Charles will be staging his presentation entitled…Seated at the piano. The multi-talented artist, who needs no introduction, will be imparting his idea of work, society and his experiences as a Québec entrepreneur. It’s a final opportunity to get together and chat around a cordial and intimate brunch. Don’t miss it!
