One of the things I like most after my two lovely girls is running in nature and particularly in the mountains. Since my teenage I’m a huge music fan and audiophile From Malher to Radio Head en passant par Brassens et Charles Mingus my taste is hétérogeneous, it is not the style it is the music. I joined the QFMA in 1986 as legal counsel and before embracing my current role as president. I find in the furniture industry a lots of friends and professional challenges. And I have to confess I LOVE design I LOVE furniture!
You could say I’m a foodie. I love everything there is to love about cooking—from baking in the comfort of home to taking cooking classes. I’m also a renovation junkie with countless projects under my belt. And like most people, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, especially my niece and nephew. I joined the QFMA in 1999 as office manager and welcome the challenge of identifying more efficient ways of managing and completing projects.
Fishing, reading, travelling, discovering and learning new things… pretty much anything that piques my interest and provides an opportunity to share, laugh and connect with people. And I love spending quality time with friends and family, especially my wife and kids. I joined the QFMA in 1994 and thoroughly love my job. It’s a wonderful place to work. In fact, I consider my work colleagues as my second family and do my best to make them laugh every chance I get.
I love music, dancing, yoga, the beach, travel, cottages, pinot grigio, dark chocolate, snow days, and mukluks… you know, all the good things in life! And I’m addicted to anti-frizz (check out the curls!). I’ve even performed on Broadway in Rent and danced with the National Ballet of Canada. I joined the QFMA in 2011—moving to Montreal from Toronto where I was Show Manager at the Gift Show—I’ve totally embraced my new job and fallen in love with my new city!
I’m a self-taught gardening expert with a very green thumb—which probably explains my passion for cooking with local products and seeking out unique plants and flowers. I’m also into Reiki, floating baths, esoteric experiences, theatre, and aerobics. But my favourite of all has to be enjoying my morning cup of coffee in my sunroom. I joined the QFMA in 1995 as event coordinator for the Annual Conference before becoming event logistics manager.
Some of my favourite things include going to the movies, dining out, meeting new people, and spending quality time with family and friends. I especially enjoy chatting with my daughter—we call each other daily and I can’t imagine a day going by without our little “talks.” I joined the QFMA in 1989 as credit clerk and now oversee the Canadian Credit Information Service and assist the QFMA’s show manager.
Good food, wine, beer—and fishing. Basically all the things that make me an all-around epicurean! I also like walking and spending time with friends and family. But I’m a numbers guy at heart… I joined the QFMA in 1994 as accountant and I’ve been making things add up ever since.
I am a calm person who is always smiling and enjoys the simple pleasures of life. I like to go out with friends, read and watch movies. I also enjoy spending time under the sun and discovering nature’s beauty. I love activities that give me a good adrenaline rush and courage it requires!
I studied at Ahuntsic College in Graphic Design and I am absolutely passionate about it!
